I hope some here would like to coment on the technical designs of the
Electrocompaniet ECI 3 integrated as well, or versus
the Anthem integrated 225?
Of course their specifications are not close (as published), but the two companies have a much different design objective, price not withstanding.
The electro is somewhat unusual for commercial designs in that they guarantee safe operation down to 0.5 ohms.
The Anthem are more typical in those regards.
I wondered about electro's design as to how much does it borrow or use from that famous gentleman (can't remember his name) whose initial work regarding TI.M.
has been debated even here.
Anthem started from tube designs that were/are reported to be excellent, so does Anthem presently design with a keen ear towards sonic excellence, as both companies and especially even more so, electro states that their designs achieve a high level of musicality.
Is anyone familiar with their performance?
Some basic performance differences between the two, even if just theoretical?
Is the design/build of good quality regarding performance versus useful life expectancy?
Reputation of companies?
Anything else?
