Default I build my JLH amplifier...

Today I am start building my JLH power amplifier. I bought on eBay two PCB for voltage regulator. Please look PCB and heatsink placing and screw for mounting. I think use ultra fast diode (not schottky) Please help me select shunt capacitors for this 8 diode in parallel. What is better ceramic C0G, NP0 or Wima MKS polyester capacitors?

I'd stick with polyesters... stability and tempco just doesn't matter here. Make sure you get a high enough voltage rating, and the correct lead pitch to fit the pcb... and without knowing the circuit can't tell you what that voltage rating would be.

my 2c: For shunting rectifiers in the psu you are probably not needing something exotic - multilayer ceramic should be perfectly good. Buy from a reputable place, there's a lot of junk on the market and supply chains in the electronics industry are strained in certain areas.

Note that multilayer ceramic should not have the self-oscillation problems of the single layer devices.

Very good looking PSU board.

Metal standoffs look dangerous on the right hand side (third picture).

regards

I not use this standoffs it's only for soldering. PCB not have copper around the holes.
