Hello all
First post here and just needing a little advice regarding using this amplifier (400w @ 8ohm) in bridge mode. I connected this amp to a single Electrovoice ZX5 (8 ohm 600w) as a monitor and switched it to bridge mode which should give 1200w. Sending from the desk into channel A and connecting the amp to the speaker on channel A, I noticed both channels were registering on the amps meters. Just wondering if that's normal and my connections were right. Is the wattage ratio acceptable as well (it sounded fine and the amp volume control was driven on 6 out of 10) ? many thanks for any help Lyn |
