Hi
I just aquired not working Adcom GFA 585. This unit had cap leakage and somebody try to repair the amp in past. Looks to me c164, c165 of Rt & Lt input board has been replaced with electrolytic caps with one board has two 1000uf 25v(Right board) and two 470uf 35v on left input board. On PCB there are no polarity markings or indication for electrlytic capacitors for C 164 & 165. Also C171 & C 159 values does not match right & left side input boards. I obtained schematics from other thread but it was so poor resolution to read any values out of it. I am calling help on Adcom Experts or kind adcom owners to share your pics or findings. PS: how can I add pics to a post Last edited by birdyman; 13th April 2010 at 03:23 PM. Reason: spelling |
