I just purchased a used Hafler DH-220, and I'm wondering what you guys think about my upgrade ideas. I'm thinking of swapping the old PSU caps for these slightly higher spec Mallorys:
CG1252U75G1: 12,500uF 75V Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitor (Screw Terminals) And buying this set to swap out the rest of the system: HAFLER DH-220 DH-500 POLYPROPYLENE CAPACITOR KIT NEW - eBay (item 280487165855 end time Apr-30-10 19:52:20 PDT) Good deal? Bad deal? Waste of time? I really have no clue about component sourcing or anything, so any comments would be welcome. |
