Default Carver M-1.5t loud noise on one channel

Hello.
New on this forum and need some help. Got this amp last week. As soon as I turn on the amp, it has loud noise come from one channel looks like oscillating from the pre section. Not sure because still looking for the schematic. Hard to find and the one I got it quite hard to read. Anyone ever ram accross this problem? Thanks for any help.

There is an adjustment in those amps that is VERRRRRRY touchy. Anatech on this forum has the whole story about those adjustments and what to do about it. Basically the trimmer pot. is oxidized and replacing it NOT the final solution though it will fix it temporarily. In my case after I thought I had it fixed it fried a Unobtainium midrange driver in one of my Westlakes. Put Carver in the search block and look for "Carver M4.0t with weak channel" on January 28, Anatech explains everything. Check it out.
