Hi every body i am sekhar from india . i am very new to this field of electronics but determined to learn and excel in this very specific field ..Some of the members hopefully do know me from my earlier thread "amp for every body " & "capability unknown".
My main objective is to unite every body in this very forum to make a audio system of very high standards.... diff people out here in this site r only limited or interested in very specific zones why nt unite every body and design a system of excelent sonic purity and very high reliability..This is an invitation to every body to participate and contribute in the making of something remarkable which is within the reach of every audio diyer...... I started making an amp using very cheap and readly available parts(2N3055&2N2955) which in due course did change I am posting my very small contribution now its ur turn..... First Amp ![]() Modified Version ![]() I did what very little i could lets see how much u contribute and lets start making some thing remarkably good. regards sekhar |

It is open to every body :amp designing , power supply design, protection circuits design,
Speakers design, etc etc ; EVERY thing needed for a good audio system, every body should contribute in wat every manner they could..... There is no restriction u can design and contribute wat ever u can and help...... I think this was the original motive of this site to promote and create something exceptional.... So lets try it regards sekhar |

There is something very wrong with your upper output transistors in the second diagram.

Sorry Sekhar, I have to say these circuits may work, but I'd never call them a good design.
You'll need a few modifications to make your amplifier designs stable and reliable! First I'd recommend to study about analog electronics, especially audio power amplifiers. Respect anyway

Sekhar,
There are still a few funny things with the output stage...I'd encourage you to post your revised schematic, and we can give you some feedback about any errors. I think you've picked a good way to learn...start doing, and that brings the focus that makes learning fast and fun. I encourage you continue... Dan |

The upper half of the over current circuit is wrong it should be across the 0r5 resistor not connected straight to the output.
