I have a 7 year old Sherwood r 956 amplifier. Just recently the receiver would power on and then immediately power off. I have checked the one fuse that I could see and it looks intact. All speakers were unhooked and it would still not power on. Somehow after letting it sit, it started to turn on and off with no problem. Now after 2 days, its back to not working. Any ideas what could cause this????
I don't really want to buy a new receiver and was thinking of having it looked at. Does anyone have an idea of how much this may cost? I have limited knowledge but am willing to learn. Any help would be appreciated. |
