mcintosh amplifier parts

Does anyone know how to translate the mcintosh transistor part numbers into the original transistor numbers or substitute other transistors.

Well we could try, its easier if you have schematic of some kind or know which model it is to give us idea of age of the amp. Substitute can sometimes be tricky, the designer designed around the parts available to him, if you use different parts the design might need some adjustment, this happens mostly when its a older amp.

hey its all good I contacted Mcintosh and they got all the parts. MC2105 is the amp I was planning to clone. By the way have you ever cloned any amplifiers yet?

The 2120/2125 is a vastly better design, and parts are easier to find.
