Before I replaced the power supply caps in my Carver M1.0t, I did some research on one of the carver web forums. Most people replace each of those large caps with two 3300mfd/150volt caps in parallel. I decided to use four 6800mfd/63volt caps in a series/parallel combination. It was a challange getting them to fit, but I made it work. I was able to find caps for both methods at Mouser.com

What ever you decide to use , just remember that a higher mfd is always good and being only 200 mfd down shouln't be a problem.

In this case more is good.

In either case make sure that the replacement capacitor voltage is the same or higher than the one it is replacing. jer
