2sc1384 Swap-out
I've been looking over datasheets for a few days after reading a post by EW
and I've come up with a few options for the swap-out, 2SC3940A - which matches pretty much everything but is panasonic and is available from digi, but is a planned discontinued... another option that I've come up with is Fairchild's: KSD1616 - it's close, but I'm not sure if it's close enough in the particulars, but I thought I'd ask the more knowledgeable of you to take a look, I did notice on EW's post that more gain is usually better, which if I'm reading the datasheet correctly, it has a higher Hfe. I'm not sure about linking datasheets and other such things, so I'll leave it to anyone who is willing to look to let me know, I have a little bit of time until I have the money set aside to do the recap on my amp, and I want to grab this up at the same time. |
