build amplifier F1 of Nelson Pass

Hello with all and all,

I am new on this forum and i would like to build amplifier F1 of Nelson Pass.

I am not a specialist in electronics it is why I seek to make me help.

I bought: The frame of l' amplifier with the format rack 19" , 2U with radiators of dimension interior of 425 X 380 X 100 Misters. 3 platinums of the printed circuits like together components.

It remains me to acquire the transformer. My question is simple, which value of the toric transformer is necessary it, to make go this amplifier with 230 v 50 Hz.

The diagram recommends a transformer of 250VA 2 X 18V. But on the official site (First Watt) one speaks d' a transformer of 300VA 2 X 18V.

Is what 250 GOES is enough or is necessary it 300,400 or 500VA.

Would not be necessary it not to use 2 transformers with the place; only one.

In the case or I would not use the transformer of 250VA, is what I must modify the value other components.

Thank you for all your answers.

Acoustically yours.

Best regards to France.

Phil.
