hi apex audio
greetings some parts are not available have managed to get
instead of ir 2117 ir 2117pbf
2 commutator diode availble are BYW 51 2I INTO 10 AMPERES and mur 1620 ctg
can they be used
instead of bf 421 will use mpsa 92
rest all components i have heat sink drilled for transistors
can it be tested with transformer i have 70 60 50 0 50 60 70 volts ac secondary
waiting please for your advice will then proceed waiting to hear H 900
thanking you

Any IR2117 is OK
Any TO220 diode with 100V min and 8A min is OK
Transformer can be used, but you must use 10000uF 80V caps.
60V sec not conect.
Regards

hi apex audio
greetings amplifier almost complete can you show me how to power amp
from a 40 0 40 or 50 0 50 ac secondary and how to power amplifier on using 150 0hms
resistor i use 100 watt series bulb .ANY useful tips any voltage test points
1 using all components as shown in schematic once it works will use mjl 21193 and
21194 as suggested by wg ski greater soa instead of irf 540 will use irf 2807
2 ne 5532 to be replaced
thanking you

The LM311-based circuit with buffer transistors works quite well. The speed that the IR2117 is capable of is not really required for class H. As a matter of fact, you have to intentionally slow it down a bit to keep the commutation noise inaudible. Unfortunately, the schematics are on another machine right now - but they are in another thread somewhere.

hi wg ski
greetings can you please give me some tips to make commutation noise
inaudible as i have had a tough time getting all parts for this project making h class
for the first time so every tip is valuable learning process one has to learn some time
I am just a hobbiyst make for fun any schematic would help waiting for your inputs
apex audio has been a great help thanks to both of you given me the courage to move
on
thanking you

QSC use LM311 but in schematics with graunded colector. EV and Dynacord use LM311 in classic design. Crown and C-audio use TL072 in simple circuit.

H900 have filters 4R7 and 47nF to make commutation noise inaudible.
