Hi all
Just got hold of a NAD 319. It seems to be working but there are two small problems. There seems to be a mild crackling when I connect my speakers to it. Mission 7's. I measured the DC offset and its about 4mv per channel on the speaker outputs. I cant see anything on a scope to speak of. The only thing thats odd is the voltage seems a tad high on the protection PCB the two regulators are + and -24 volts but one is 33 volts. I traced it back to the inputs of the Zeners D658-660 and there is + 72 volts and -67 volts. Any ideas? Also what is the correct sequence of relay activity on switch on. I assume its the mains relay followed by the selecter input relay followed by the Speaker protection relay. thanks Phil |
