That proves the response is "flat" then. Depending on the design, it may not be with the control fitted, particularly if it was just a passive HF cut. That may be why you think it's brighter with it removed.

Year old thread resurrection I realize, but I'm loving the SA-102 for a similar headphone specific amp, and was wondering if someone could point me the the direction of which of the 4 wires off the volume pot to cut to prevent the class B business. Other than that it's great but in need of a recap. If this eliminates that for a while even better.
Thanks. Thought I'd ask rather than risk trial and error. |
