Default fuses and best speakers cables hehehehehe

Hello, I was with a friend of mine and He was looking for the best speaker cables!. What I really do not understand is if your amp has fuses on the output...yeah this thin cheap wire enclosed in a glass cylinder called fuses. Why do people look for "thick" expensive speakers cables?.if before these expensive, oxygen free with lunar material speaker wires there is a cheap thin wire. I think the most important side of an amplifier where there should be put a lot attention is the INPUT since what ever you put in...that will be amplified!!!.But maybe I am wrong.

I know is a stupid post but, just to give a though!

PS:I do not liked fuses or relays for the outputs.
