Thank you for relying.
What I mean was "can the relay kick on if the OUTPUT TRANSISTORS WERE TAKEN OUT OF THE CIRCUIT BOARD?" Without the OUTPUT ...C: 33 Volts, Bass: 32 Volts, E: 0 Volts. When I put the OUTPUT back in the circuit board then the Bass turns to be zero Volts ???? Last edited by tommy1; Yesterday at 09:54 PM.

It all depends on how the relay is driven. Different designs drive them in different ways. Most pro amps do a self-check before firing the relay, checking for alsorts of errors. I wouldnt power the amp up without transistors in anyway, it might cause heavy currents through other parts of the circuit, drivers etc

Hi Kev,
Everything is fine , now. Except the relay, it won't kick on. I found there is ac IC C1237, and I think it is broken. |
