I posted my thanks in the other QED A240CD thread on this forum, but I thought I'd also past a link to it here - in case it's of use to anyone else doing a search on fettling their A240CD.

Mine was running very warm. Thanks to the info on this forum (and to Leslie in particular), it's now running just fine! QED A240CD Blows Fuse on Powerup
