Caps come in various design lifes. 500 hour caps probably won't last very long, 2000 hour caps at 105 deg c are about the best I see for sale. Some vendors show the design life as a pulldown selector on their website, for example newark.com. They have a UK affiliate. Expensive 3 phase motor drives that last a while (5 years or more) in my experience in an unheated factory have nicichom brand caps.
