Hi,
I am servicing a Azur 640A v2 amplifier and two resistors keep burning up. I don't have the schematic but on the pcb they are R98 and R99, possibly used for some powersupply filtering or dropping of voltage in conjunction with some small caps (100nF) for the tc9163af-chip. Does anyone have the schematic/service manual and/or suggestions what could be wrong? cheers, ks Last edited by kynsi; 18th January 2010 at 04:28 PM. |

Hello kynsi, I have the same problem with R98, R99 burned out, and also a NE5532P input op amp. Do you know the resistor value of R98, 99 - mine are badly burned. I am guessing 10 ohms.
Thanks. |

For reference R98 is a 1% metal film 150R and R99 is 100R.
