Default piezo electric tweeters

i have an application in a big area with almost 80 smal 100v 25W 2way 4" speakers + a very small tweeter

80 speakers are working with 5-6 amplifiers without a limiter ( 100v procedure ) that had the result that 80% of the very small tweeters are blown

now, for sure this is a very lowfi application that only is used to anounce in a big area a few voice messages and may be some radio music ....

as we speak and with 80% of the small tweeters blow the sound is really terrible so i was thinking first of all to install a limmiter then again replacing 80 small tweeters is a real pain in the *** and very time consuming , then again i thought like instaling 4 big piezos conencted inseries with each others in selected spots to introduce some high in the area

question :

do you think that if i use one resistor say 10R 15W one capacitor in series say 2.2 mfd 250V mkt and 4 piezo in series do you think i will get away with it without an 100 volt transformer ?????

here is this pad:

posting in solid state is because this is not exactly a "speaker issue " also 100 v technology has not much to do with speakers guys

mostly is about tech guys that constructed 100 V systems performd both installations and tuning in large areas and so on

also qualities and performance of crappy piezo tweeters is well known between solid state forum members so i dont realy get your point

Hi Sankis

The TWs piezo has high sensitivity and a small margin response in HF. You must decrease the sensitivity with a L-Pad and cutting the filter above >5KHz,

The sound will be bad, if you do not do this.
