Hello

Looking for some advice on a problem I am having with the LM386. I am driving a earphone with an impedence of 150 ohms at 1 kHz. The device is well within the thermal disapation for the part. I am seeing this part fail, as it will clip of the positive cycle of the sine wave only, well before I reach the positive rail. This does not happen on all op amps. The bad op amps also draw more Q current than the data sheet states. The part does still work, although distortion is a lot higher, since I am clipping on the positive rail. I do have some small positive offset.
