Recommendation on Distortion Analyzer

I am in the market for a distortion analyzer. I will probably buy one off of ebay but I wanted to get some recommendation on what to look for. I have actually never used one before but I want to spend maybe a couple of hundred dollars to play around with one and test my amplifiers. In general, is calibration an issue when buying? I am looking at the HP 331 or 334. Does anyone have experience with this one?

Thanks,

Mark

Buy an HP339 if you can afford it. Low distortion oscillator source and distortion analyzer. I paid 300 on ebay. Someone was selling one here for 150.00. I great deal. IMHO. Calibration? Yes, it would be nice to do but a 339 will measure down to .01% easily without it. The issue is usually residual noise.
The 331/334 is nice but what will you use for an LD oscillator??
