if you bridge a 1500W into 8r0 amplifiers it should if designed and built properly deliver 3000W into 16r0.
If you connect an 8ohm speaker to this amp and ask for full power this will be roughly 5000W into 8r0, if it does not blow up first or burn out the bank of speakers giving you that 8ohm load.
 
There are some interesting amp modules on ebay from a company calling themselves "Class D audio" (I think that's right) They are not class d amps but they do offer a range of very high power amp modules, some of which have heatsinks already attached and some have integral cooling fans.
They use their own lateral mosfet output devices which they make great claims about.
Might be worth considering a look for the power you are looking for.
