Disimproved NAD 304

My old NAD 304 used to have the famous channel fading problem. So tried to replace the R 334 as recommended in many threads. But instead of using a 47k resistor, I accidently used a 47r resistor... Well, that's a factor of 1000. Since then, the red LED does no switch to green anymore. I replaced the resistor and put in a proper one, but the problem persists. So I think I burnt some other components. As I am rather new to electronics, I would be really grateful for any advice on where to start looking.

Check Zeners D306 and D308 (I think that's the numbers as the copy of the service manual I have i rathter poor quality). There should be 3.9V across each.

While you are at it, you should check for bad solder joints, they are almost always the cause of intermittent problems.
