hi, i've got a marantz pm94 with a burnt resistor which does not appear on the schematic, i'm guessing that its used to drop current/voltage to the led board as it connects to this, there is also a capacitor which connects from the original supply line (24vdc), so pre the burnt resistor, the capacitor also dosent appear on the schematic.
has anyone any idea's on a starting point for a replacement resistor, or if its not on the schematic can i just omit it? thanks chris |

A couple of points. The resistor probably is on the schematic, it may be associated with a different functional block, but these days schematics drive parts lists.
Second is that you need to find out why the resistor burned out before you replace it. ![]() Is everything else working OK? Just the display is out? |

i'll look at the schematic again, but i dont think i'll find it as it was just soldered on the underside of the board.
