Default Baxandall diode information.

Can someone explain how the Baxandall diode works in a quasi complimentary amplifier ?

I have searched the internet and there appears to be a number of ways to implement this. Can someone supply a circuit of the original Baxandall diode circuit?

Hi

Isnít the Baxandall diode a forward biased diode connected in parallel with the emitter resistor of the lower driver transistor?
I think the idea is that this will make the circuit work more ore less like a complimentary EF stage.

I jus twanted to understand the effect the diode has on the circuit.
Also I would have liked a circuit diagram of the original Baxandall implementation.

Here is the circuit I ended up with after development.

I added the Baxandall diode but found I got some oscilation on the output.
A 220pf from collector to base on teh lower driver fixed this.
