I have tried to download the transformer design book but it failed the first time and has got stuck the second time.
Has anyone successfully downloaded any of these old design books?

Here's the trick- they aren't hosting any of that stuff. What they're doing is putting up download links from other sites and making it look like it's coming from them. Many of the links are badly coded. So, for example, they'll have a book and description up and the actual link goes to Pete Millett's site- they use his hard work, without permission or attribution, to drive traffic to their site and make it look as if they're providing a service.

IMO, this is an incredibly unethical thing to do.

I see that you made efforts in creating your site , but it will be nice to write that form of it is more like catalogue of links ;

we all know Pete Millet's site ..... first page - technical - is just redirecting to his ftp .
