blowtorch + symasym ?

Hi :)

I think about building another amp. Plan is to use "blwtorch style" pre and add power - buffer. Since I would use only "half" of the circuit, I thought - how about useing "the other half" in a similar way to symasym amp?

Schematic shows the basic idea. Did any of you try something like this before ?

You have a funny way to draw your schematics, but I see what you are thinking, anyway it’s not a BT.

Have a look at this design by Scott Wurcer, a nice design that could be used with 2 buffers.

I also think you will find some circuits in the Pass forum that you can use.

I know that is not a BT. BJT in cascode, bias voltages, no degeneration... Well, the schematic is just to show the idea. Details will come later.

I want to use only one buffer (thre is one "out_pre"), but I will look at Scott's design with attention.
