Hi,
I have QSC2450 & got schematics of the amp, recently it's A channel is giving problem, on studying the circuit, i could not understand ...... 01. As to why its center Tap of trafo is going to Positive Terminal of Sp+ Output. 02. All power transistors Collector terminal(both Channels) are common and grounded. Please help me understand, how and why is it so. Rergards. |

in just a few words an amplifier is a DC power supply that its output is "modulated " to audio signal
this device does the exact same thing only the transitors of the amplifier is on the "otherside".... meaning something like the speaker is connected to the power supply and the other side "ground side " is modulated to sound check the basic topology of any class AB amplifier why and why not is capacitor needed in the output and then you will realize the rpincipal of operation that was as simple as it can get
