Default Cyrus Two to TV

Excuse if this is a daft question, but I've had a Cyrus Two connected to a NAD 5425 CD Player for yonks and was wondering whether it's possible to connect my Cyrus Two to my TV for sound through my speakers. The TV has an EXT-4 with dual audio and single video connections (if that makes sense!).

Appreciate any help....

Just a quick additional note; should I be trying to connect to my DVD player for example and not the TV? Unfortunately I've never had an instruction manual with my Cyrus Two...

It should be as simple as connecting the audio outputs of your TV into spare inputs on your Cyrus. Anything BUT phono is OK.

I have a Cyrus manual somewhere but can't find it right now. Cyrus do have an electronic version but now require some info from you first:Cyrus Audio

the DVD player and the TV receiver may have both a Scart output socket and a pair of RCA/phono sockets.
The Scart cable has a pair of transmit and receive audio coax cables inside.

Some retailers stock a Scart lead with a pair of RCA breakout connectors to connect the TV/DVD to the amplifier.

I have played ( about 1974) TV through the Stereo system from before they introduced stereo (Nicam) to the TV signal.
