Not that I am bored with this amp or think it's not good enough. It is beautiful for my nearfield monitors.
I am wondering if I could benefit by recapping this amp with Elna Silmic or similar because I like amp so much that it is worth the attention.
Also is there a good way to reduce level by about 20% with losing dynamics? I run direct from a DAC in my computer and don't want to reduce digitally but it is too loud on my desk.

to reduce level, use Vishay S102 resistors. There is no resistor more transparent.

Use Vishay S102 in line or in series with speakers? -14dbfs(digital) is about the right volume but sound is mushy when attenuated digitally.

Neither. Use them as voltage divider at the input of your amp.

You may want to try this with cheap metal film resistors first, though.

Could you please clarify voltage divider? What value should i use and will I still have dynamics? I have some very good resistors here from Solen for high end crossovers.
