Default Denon DRA-35V, channel cuts out

Right channel cuts out at low volume. Turning up volume re-establishes right channel until it cuts out again. I do not know if both channels will continue uninterrupted at higher volume - too loud for me. I searched around and cannot find any hints about what might be causing this. Any suggestions?

Warning! My experience with electronics ended a long time ago building Heathkit preamps and Dynaco amps. Woe, that I discarded those things somewhere in the past.

Thanks in advance.

Stephen
