I have a GIGRAC 1000 that will not power up. External (ceramic) fuse and all internal fuses (incl power supply) have been checked. There are currently 2 of these units on e-bay with, it appears to be, the same problem. I would gather there is a common issue with these units.
Does anyone have an idea as to what I can look at to solve this issue, or has anyone solved this themselves? |

Start at mains fuse and work your way through transformer primary and secondary, bridge rectifier, smoothing caps etc etc.
