Hello JRdGreat
Here is a link to a amp for you. http://sound.westhost.com/project68.htm Have you done any amplifier before ? If not, don't build a high power amplifier if you do not have enough experiences. Bye Gaetan Last edited by gaetan8888; 15th September 2009 at 08:41 AM. |

ESP's project 68 will give you some idea of how difficult it will be to get 250W into a load.
To achieve 500W, reliably, into your load will be much more difficult. BTW, don't believe that estimate of 470W into 4r0 from +-70Vdc PSU. His 4pair output stage and PSU design will never achieve that or anywhere close.

It's a rather long thread that Zeonrider gave you link to - you better visit Quasi's web page:
http://users.adam.com.au/cgpap/QuasiWeb/index.htm Look for Actrk400 / 600, there you'll find all you need. It is proven and tested design, many satisfied diyers made it successfully. Good luck! Last edited by juma; 15th September 2009 at 10:37 AM. |

JRdGreat , you've got some great links.
Have you built any power amplifiers before? Building high power amps is not easy even with all details given. One month might be a really tight squeeze unless you have a ready pcb and all parts and chassis ready. Why did you come up with such a request at the last minute ?
