Best kit for 2 ohm sub, 100W+?

I have an unusual sub I would like to power and am looking for the best kit amp to drive it. The sub has an F3 of 16Hz so ideally the amp should be flat from 10-100Hz. The sub is also around 2 ohm, potentially less in certain conditions. I only require one channel, 100W RMS or more.
Which is the most suitable kit amp for driving this load cleanly?

Hello,

An audio amplifier in class B would be the best solution. For example, BJT audio amplifier with the ouput BJT preferably in capsule TO-3. In this way are many amplifer schematics that would suit your requirement, but will must be adapted to function in 2 ohms.

For example, If you make the diagram below, three pairs of transistors on the output and fed to a maximum + /-30Vdc, you can use on a 2 ohm speakers.

Consider a chip-amp... the LM3886 can be run in parallel, using low-ohm series resistors. 4 should be safe even with 1 ohm loads.

You could use a standard 200 watt RMS 4 ohm amp.
At half volume it could still supply enough current for 2ohms.
