Which vintage power amp privides the very best sound stage with width, depth, height? I presently have a Threshold S/300 which I love. I am thinking about the Threshold S/500 because I don't want to bother with mono-blocks. I have given thought to the Mark Levinson amps but understand that people have had numerous problems getting them services and when they can, they are charged outlandish prices.
I love classical music as well as jazz. I am in love with the human voice and therefore listen to small and large scale choral music as well as small jazz groups and big bands. Eventually, I plan to purchase a set of Magnapan 1.6 or Eminent Tech Planar speakers which require additional amp power. I would appreciate all the feedback I can get. Thanks for your comments and advice. Rob |

Actually; why ask the question in a do-it-yourself forum? Perhaps AudioAsylum.com may be more helpful to you? |
