need a better chip please...what are good drop ins, thanks!!

4558 with 6K8 from output to + rail is one option;
NJM2068 with 6K8 from output to + rail is another one.
But it depends on the application.

input/debalancer on power amplifier XLR, and gain chip pre and post vol control

ie input, 4558, vol, 4558, power amp differential input.
