Default High Power Audio Transistors

Hey guys, i really want to start working on another project and looking to build something in the neighborhood of 500RMS@4Ohms.
Looking at a few options here and looking at 4 or 5 PNP and NPN pairs to do this which i think it will be adequate in TO3P like the 2STC5948 or something similar in the TO220 package.

TO220 wont dissipate enough power.
I usually go for To3 or to247 as they are larger packages.

TO-220 is for class D. And if they ever come out with a TO-264-like package with 5 nH source inductance, the TO-220 won't even be preferred for that anymore.
