Hi elviukai,
the Aleph3 and the ZENV4 would be an option.
Both single-ended class a and around 30W.
The ZenŽs youŽll find here ; just click on amps.
For a good understanding download all pdf-files concerning the Zen even if you "only" build the ZenV4.
For the Aleph3 youŽll find the service manual here .
Do a search in these forums. YouŽll find endless threads about them.

Regards
Jens

Wink well 120 000uf.. :)

yes I saw theese too. but how I buy lets say 63V 10 000uF more or less good caps(philips bd series) it will be about 200eur, to caps only, otherwise its a good project. using the cheapiest caps, wilo not be point to build single ended class. what about jlh updatet a class amp?

A lot of people built the ZenV4 with just the capacitance recommended in the article so around 25000uF.
Looking at the prices you get youŽd need at least 4 caps for stereo.
Building the Aleph3, the service manual shows 8*22000uF per channel (voltage rating letŽs say 35V).
IŽd say you could do with much less regarding the ZenV4 is very similar in power draw from the supply and other details.

IŽd give it a try.

Regards
Jens

There's also a 20Watt real SE class A project from Rod Eliot. It's a variation of the Project 03 amplifier. From the looks of it, it should be a difficult amplifier to build.
