curve tracer?
 
Hi Guys,
i found a old B&K curve tracer model 501A, and i would like to know if somebody can explain to me how can i match my transistors with this curve tracer?. Thank you! Maxpou

The manual is here.

B&K 501

And you will need a 'scope to display the results.

There is a left/right switch so you can easily compare two devices.

Hi Iam new on this site, I have a tektronix semiconductor workbench 372, but it have a problem when start because shows an error like "config error CPU2" can someone help me, I did search the manual without luck.

Tektronix 575
 
Anybody out there familiar with the old Tektronix 575 curve tracer. I have one but have never used it. I ordered a bunch of 6AN8 and 6AL5 tubes for it but never got around to installing them. Is it worth it to test and match transistors?
