New Douglas Self Book
I bought the new edition of Self´s book directly from Elsevier and received it three weeks ago.
I have to say the book maintains its utility and has new chapters and more information.
Very recommended buy.
And, BTW, there are (good) references to DIYAudio.
Is this Audio Power Amplifier Design Handbook, Fifth Edition? If so, I've ordered it from Amazon and am delighted to hear that it's a worthwhile updating.
Some new information about current mirror and measurements at input stage, for example.
I think soon the index will be available at Amazon Web site.
How are the graphics/schematics?
There are some new schematics regarding the class XD and additional ones for the new chapters.
The structure of the book is the same. Some chapters were divided and many of them are bigger with new information.
The class D chapter still basically the same.

Mine is third edition, i guess it won't break me to update it.
I have all editions (not too much diferences from the 3rd to the 4rd),but I have to say the upgrade to fifth edition worth it.
