hi
I have a cambridge audio a 500 that someone dusted off from a cupboard and donated to my cause , however the left channel does not work , ie no sound out of either left speaker output , if you turn the voulme way up then there is a tiny amount of volume coming out , as a newbie I am guessing there may be a simple fuse somewhere , is this right , can anyone tell me a step 1 , step 2 in trying things out to fix that may not cost too much ? thanks |

No unfortunately it's not that simple. A tiny bit of sound coming out would point to an issue somewhere in the preamp circuit. Without the proper tools and experience, it's just impossible to remotely diagnose.
