Hello,
I was having this heated and diverging discussion about Capacitance Multiplier. I had a doubt as to why my friends think it is the best stuff in the world. They told me the theories but they got no data to back it up. I read Mr. Jung's four paper set on audio voltage regulators. In them, Jung's regulator gives better than -90dB ripple regulation over more than 100KHz with noise performance of 1~10uV. Which is an order better than LM317. When I got pissed by the fact that no one is giving me substantiated facts, I started my soul searching on GOOGLE. I found couple entries all leading to this "Pass" regulator. In fact, this is the PSU you people use for Pass amplifiers. So here I am! Can you give me numerical performance data? Thanks! T |
