Default Simple summer vacation amplifier :)

Hi all diy folks

On my vacation I have build and almost finished building of my new amplifier that is simple and sounds good. It is amplifier that have nothing new around here in diyaudio: Differential cascode LTP, cascoded VAS and CFP output stage. It can output 2x100W@8R. I have biased it on class A till 5W, so it is class AB amplifier. I will show schematics and layout when I have added correct values on them. I designed this amplier in two weeks including designing, so it is not very actually very that good/beautiful.

Here I have few pics from building, but I regret that I didn't take pictures from the start of the building as it was very funny
I will also put IR pictures as long I can borrow that IR-camera from my job.

I wish I could share the sound of this amplifier with you guys. I wish that all of you who is going to build this amp will join this as much as I am enjoying right now.

Looks well designed. Nice use of SMD parts

Lots of capacitance too! I guess you got many 2200uF (guessed the value) capacitors as cheap surplus or so ?

Yes, those capacitors are Nichicon 50V/2200uF capacitors. They were supposed to be in RC filter but because I runned out of space I'd had to leave RC-RC -filter out. 24X2200uF is better than my previously amplifier that were running on 0,5F capacitance.

This amplifier have VERY good dynamics. I believe that is it because of cascode/CFP.
