input switching

I would like to do input switching with push buttons and some relais. Has anyone got a schematic for this? I already made some schematics with RS flipflops but they didn't work.
I know how to do it with a PIC processor, but I think this is' a bit "over the top" as I don't need a µcontroller for anything else in my preamp.

thanks, this looks a nice simple solution

why can't I find such a beautiful solution myself. My failed attempts were using a FF, an invertor, a buffer and I thought I needed more...

svokke....a latching relay is a common circuit...there are a number of ways to do it....if you want other ideas also I can point you to some helpful Links

Sure I would like view some other ideas. I just ran to the shop to get some latches, but they already closed at 1PM

So no testing of above circuit the next few days.

something more,
If you want that some input is selected always when you power up selector (for example CD input), on appropriate switch connect parallel elco 1uF or 4u7 (+ wire to PS).
