Default Bi-amplification to Dx Amplifiers, a passive input filter

This one is beeing used into the DHR Turbo.

One channel is operating with basses...the filter tested is the one you see.

Other channels is operating with mids and treble...the input capacitor must be substituted to a 10N to a 22N capacitor...test the one you like...this depends on your squawker and tweeter efficiency...i am using 10N...so... remove the input capacitor and install a 10N in it's place..this is enougth to reduce frequencies lower than 1 Kilohertz.... 500 hertz is 3 decibels less.

The bass filter produces a loss of more than 3 decibels into 400 hertz... the bass filter attenuate more than 10dB at 1 Kilohertz.

This way, having separated volume controls, of course two potentiomenters will be needed, one to control bass and other to control midrange and treble.

I have runned wires to the woofer and another wire to the internal crossover to mids and highs.

Yeah!..for sure active will be better..but for a while, this is nice to be listening till i have tested many active filters.

Be happy...works fine.

regards,

Carlos

and one can add a high pass filter to the mid and/or treble driving amplifier.
Allow for the passive filter Q=0.7 in the crossover response.

This extra Q would be ideal for experimenting with Linkwitz Reilly.

Default Do not bother yourselves... you have not made a clone

or have you?

That movie was adressed to the ones have made clones... around the world, as youtube is world wide...why are you're feeling bothered?

The audio has some quality.... some of this awsome audio quality was lost into youtube, the master i have is wonderfull, sound quality is super special.... what appear in this music, as the most strong message, is the curse.

The audio was prepared using special encoding techniques.... the audio quality is very good.

Then i have decided to play with that, as there's no original design in this word fellows... differential is not ours..someone has discovered before... VAS is not ours, even Doctor Self has discovered several types, also three stages is not mine or ours..it is old alike the time...class A is not ours, also class AB.....in the reality..WE ARE...all of us, clone producers...it is just impossible to produce something too much different.

Now a days i would like to produce a very good version of Gaborbela published amplifier..something working even better..this way..it is unavoidable.

But we know, when we do cloning..... do cloning is just to try to fool people... changing a resistance value here or there...just to change a little values.... when we do this way (a bad behavior i think..not creative, waste of time) we know exactly what we are doing.

Relax...near future i will find the music "I'm wonderfull", and then you may recognize yourselves while listening that music too... and i will not write "the curse"...i will write.... "Are they lovely?".

My lovely Dx Amplifier (result was excelent) was based into several amplifiers, in special Sony 33 and Aksa 55.... also Hugh helped me to make that clone... this way....if the curse was sent to the clone makers....i am one of them too.

I would like to see people cloning other designs...just to make forum different...now we have Symassym...this one was hardly explored too...watch the thread size fellows.... another different one will make forum more brigth....not only the same old song.

Please!.... JLH again no!... nor Leach.....nor Krell

The "maleditus" music is very nice.... also makes clone makers appear and in an united way...all them can be united in a same thread..... "The united cloning association"

We can register the "Clone makers association"...or the low creativity group or something alike..... by the way, my filters are not perfect... a good idea to make a clone of it... if you know some clone maker, ask them to clone the filter...will be a nice cooperation to our forum communitty.

Ahahahahahhaha!

regards,

Carlos
