I've had no chance to play with any of mine yet, but Chris did take a pair and make a dual mono external amp for us to play with.

But i do have Duo seeing if he can figure out why you often get a ground loop when you plug in the 2nd amp. Once he is inside we'll be able to start examing those subjects.

When you say 'plug in' do you mean to the power supply or when you connect the speaker?

Plug the amp into the wall socket, and connect it to the hifi (and turn it on).

I've powered mine up and not had any issues with ground loops. Maybe its because I'm in the UK so the power setup is different?

They sound pretty good though and have a good grip on my Beta 15's

Maybe a localised problem with the particular outlets you used. Hope you dont have problems with the other Foster amps you have
