Metal Oxide resistors in Oz

Does anyone out there know of an Aussie distributor of 3W/5W low value (>0.1R) metal oxide power resistors such as these:

I can't find any (from Farnell, RS, etc, etc) less than 10R. I'm not looking to buy 1,000,000 pcs either.........

Semtronics has the 2 watt ones. Might be worth giving them a call.

Hi Col.

Those metal film's from Semtronics only start at 1 ohms. Metal film and metal oxide resistors in the 0.1R - 0.91R range a damn hard to find in any power rating.

The Rockby site drives me mental - click 'resistor' and you get five million hits, 10 visible on screen at a time.

yeah the rockby web interface is non-user friendly. It's often worth giving them a call though. How about radio parts?

Metal film and metal oxide resistors in the 0.1R - 0.91R range a damn hard to find in any power rating.

These are damn nice if you can get them......not cheap though.

I'm not sure why you want metal oxide. When I need low values I use current sense resistors.

Well I need over 100 of them and I need 0.22 ohms, not 0.022 ohms.

The 5W metal oxide resistors are ~1/3 the price in an order multiple of 100.
