bitrex -- What voltage ratings are you looking for? How many transistors on the chip? PNP or NPN or both?

I just ordered the 2SC3381 from Consolidated for $1.15 each. He was out of the 2SA1349s.
Thanks for the tip on the Sanyo dual. Other matched duals I'm looking at for a power amp are the Zetex/Diodes Inc. DMMT5551 and DMT5401 in a surface mount package, matched to 2%. $0.50 from Mouser or Digi-key. I also like the packages mllyod1 recommended. I bought some from Jameco a few years ago -- have no idea if they are still available there.

just a friendly tip - somebody on this board has "official" (i.e. not fake) 2SA1349 and 2SC3381 (both GR Hfe grade) for sale.
i just got some myself ... you can find MPQxxxx sometimes at surplus mailorder places. they are certainly not the ultimate if you need guaranteed precision/low noise/bandwidth/etc... , but for how we use them around here, they usually work just fine. my experience has been similar to euvl's - all the ones i've had/used were pretty far above spec. mlloyd1 Quote:

Does anyone know of a matched quad npn with Vbe greater than 60V (80V or more would be great)?

While we're asking about these things: Is there such a thing as a medium power array? Anything from a couple of watts per transistor up.

I'm sorry I haven't had a chance to respond to this thread, I found this today while hunting around:
